The universities of Tokyo and Leiden are jointly establishing an endowed chair named after Professor Hisashi Owada, diplomat, academic and former chair of the International Court of Justice. The Owada chair will focus on the interaction between international law and international relations from an interdisciplinary perspective. Dominique Moïsi, a professor at King’s College London, will be the first to hold this chair, starting this spring. He will give his inaugural lecture on 24 May, in the Grand Auditorium of the Academy Building in Leiden (start 10:00, Grand Auditorium, Rapenburg 73).
We invite you to attend his inaugural lecture, which will be both in-person and online. The livestream is open for all, for in-person attendance registration is required. You can register using the links below, where further information on the additional programme on the 24th and 25th of May can be found as well.
