Leiden Asia Centre regularly receives inquiries from individuals interested in pursuing a PhD through the Leiden Asia Centre (LAC). Please note that the Leiden Asia Centre does not offer PhD programmes and cannot supervise or admit PhD candidates directly.

If you are interested in undertaking a PhD on a topic related to Asia, you are kindly advised to contact the Leiden Institute for Area Studies (LIAS) at Leiden University, which is the appropriate academic body responsible for PhD admissions and supervision.
