Yujing Tan is a Lecturer in International Studies at Leiden University. Her research sits at the intersection of political economy, sociology, and contemporary China studies. She specializes in the political economy of innovation, government-business relations, mobilities, and the sociology of work, with extensive fieldwork experience in the ICT and creative industries, economic zones, and industrial associations. Her work has been published in journals such as EPA, Competition & Change and Journal of Chinese Governance, and she has contributed policy analyses for institutions including the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and the China Knowledge Network.
