Trevor Incerti
Trevor Incerti is an Assistant Professor of Political Economy at the University of Amsterdam.
His research focuses on economic drivers of political behavior. This includes topics such as business-government relations, money in politics, regulatory policy, interest group influence, and corruption. He has a regional focus in East Asia, particularly Japan.
His research has appeared in journals such as the American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, British Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, and Political Analysis, and has received coverage by media such as The Economist, The New Yorker, and The Washington Post.
Trevor is also a Faculty Affiliate at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service Asian Studies Program, and was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations at Harvard University. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University, and previously worked as a Data Scientist in the automotive sector and in economic consulting.
